As a Therapeutic Massage Therapist, you will benefit from the 2200 hours that will be important for future regulation in Alberta. As the Natural Health Practitioners of Canada predicts,
"If you wish to practice Massage Therapy in Alberta – as part of a
regulated health profession, you will be required to register and
to meet all of the requirements of the regulatory college."
Choose between Onsite OR Distance/Onsite Combined learning to complete your diploma. You enjoy the flexibility to choose what is right for you with the knowledge that you will be receiving quality education every step of the way. Both learning options involve a lot of hands-on instruction. Each week, students in both programs come together for a full day of techniques practice. Choosing how you learn the rest of the week is up to you.
Onsite Learning
Onsite learning is right for those who want a more structured way to learn and who enjoy being part of a classroom community. Being onsite means being able to ask lots of questions and receive immediate feedback and support.
Distance & Onsite Combined
Distance & Onsite Combined learning is right for those who need more flexibility in terms of when, where and how they learn. Having the flexibility to complete school work in your own time can help with balancing work, family and school. Distance learning is right for people who are self-motivated and commited to their own success.
